DARK OFFERINGS FROM LONDON’S HIPPEST DESIGNER DUO
Belle Sauvage, the UK-based label with fans that include Florence Welch, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and LaRoux, produced a gorgeous film to showcase looks from their upcoming collection, which featured the geometrically-complex textiles and angular lines they’re best known for. Infused with spiritual iconography and accented with luxurious details like French lace and Crepe de Chine, the collection is an engaging mixture of striking silhouettes and their “trademark digital abstract prints”.
Co-designer Chris Neuman says that “Nosferatu’s inspiration was slumbering deep in us while making this film. The visuals are also a reference for the upcoming Belle Sauvage fashion feature film that is in pre-production right now.” Feature-length fashion? Something to give our usual runway shows a run for their money, no doubt.
