Anthropologie’s newest entity, Made in Kind, launched last week – a project in collaborative design, Made in Kind features limited edition looks from 11 different designers including Karen Walker and Gregory Parkinson.
The retailer says Made in Kind will house “multiple exhibitions per month, each dedicated to a single designer or concept.” Primarily available online, certain pieces will also be available in-store and through the Anthropologie catalogue.
The debut collection features many pieces to gush over, including the hand-illustrated prints from Zoologist by Charlotte Linton, the vintage fabrics used by Place Nationale, and Koto Bolofo’s use of vintage French linen sheets as reference for his chic seaside looks.
We’re coveting every piece from Treasure by Samantha Pleet (shown above), a line that features delicate dresses with cut-out details and hand-draped silhouettes. Pleet says Treasure’s colour palette was inspired by gold, silver, gems, and oxidized copper, and we can’t wait to get our hands on these precious metals.
