TAKE YOUR NAILS TO A LUXE NEW LEVEL

Nail art is hotter than ever right now and, thankfully, also easier than ever. Last year’s trends included nail colours infused with shatters and crackles to provide an effect that one could do without a trip to a nail salon.
This year, the most magnificent mani is Ciaté’s Caviar Manicure, created by UK-based nail artist Charlotte Knight. Exclusive to Sephora in Canada, this easy-to-use set produces a 3-D look to your nails and includes a Paint Pot, Caviar Beads, a funnel and a tray – all for just $28. Colour ranges include: Rainbow, Mother of Pearl, and Black Pearls, and Ciaté boasts that its formula does not include harsh materials such as Parabens, Sulfates, and synthetic fragrances and dyes.
Application is a cinch – apply one coat of polish from the Paint Pot and allow to dry. (This acts as your base coat). Next, working one nail at a time, apply a second coat from the Paint Pot, and then sprinkle the Caviar Beads over the nails while the second coat is wet (press down on beads firmly to make sure they stay in place). Apply a top coat to set your beads and colour, and you’re ready to impress with the freshest set of nails in town!
The Ciaté Caviar Manicure is said to last at least 48 hours, and the end result is a manicure with an interesting texture and a pearlescent shine. The only bad news is that these kits, like many of life’s luxuries, will not be around for long, so get your hands on them while you can!
