The Toronto artist community got its PRIDE on last night with the debut of this year’s 10×10 photography collection. Celebrating its tenth anniversary, the exhibition of 100 portraits shines a spotlight on some of the individuals who have worked to support Toronto’s LGTB and arts communities, focusing on the overlap between the two communities.
The portraits are snapped by 10 different LGBT photographers. This year’s photographers are Kelly Clipperton, Adamo de Pax, Guntar Kravis, JJ Levine, Sue Lloyd, John Monteith, Renee Navarro, Alex Nursall, Allyson Scott and Sonja Scharf.
In addition to the exhibition, the 100 portraits have also been compiled into a book. All book sale proceeds will be donated to The People Project, an arts initiative for queer and trans youth.
10×10 is showing June 28th – July 20th at The Gladstone Hotel.
