For those who’ve been jonesing for some new sounds by Spoon’s Britt Daniel and Wolf Parade/Handsome Furs’ Dan Boeckner, the recent announcement of their new group, Divine Fits, was something to celebrate.
Now, the celebration continues as they extend their initially small-scale tour with a trip to Toronto on September 5th. Tickets are currently on sale and will definitely go fast. Daniel, Boeckner, Sam Brown (of New Bomb Turks) and Alex Fischel (of Papa) are starting their tour by hitting their respective hometowns, and we’re glad they’ve decided to share the wealth.
The above video is one of a few promos the band has made to introduce their sound to the masses; the short film was created by Alexa Gerrity, and like the few songs the Divine Fits have released so far, is leaving us wanting more.
