BREW UP SOME FUN THIS WEEKEND

Story by Odessa Paloma Parker

Missed out on Toronto’s Festival of Beer a few weeks back? You’ll get another chance to sample some beautiful brews at this weekend’s Roundhouse Craft Beer Festival, happening noon until 6pm on August 11th and 12th.

Participating breweries include Steam Whistle Brewing, King Brewery, Nickel Brook Brewing, Mill St. Brewery, Grand River Brewing, Wellington County Brewery, Black Oak Brewing, Great Lakes Brewery, and Flying Monkeys Craft Brewery. In the mood for food? Food trucks will be on site, changing daily but including treats from Hogtown BBQ, Tide and Vine, Dobro Jesti, Busters Sea Cove and Rome’n Chariot .

This event not only benefits the craft brewers involved, who are committed to the fine tradition of creating small batches of high quality brew; you’ll also be contributing to the Toronto Rail Heritage Museum, located beside the Roundhouse Festival’s host, Steam Whistle Brewing.
