OUR OLD COVERBOY IS COMING OUT WITH A NEW ALBUM

A couple weeks ago, Plaid Magazine got the chance to check out Diamond Rings play a set at The Drake. As expected – it was full of poppy hooks and high glam energy. It is a mystery as to how Diamond Rings wore a white leather studded jacket more than halfway through his set without breaking a sweat. He begins his tour today and the fact that he was able to get “industry” people to clap their hands when he commanded them to leads us to believe that his fans are in for an interactive show that is rooted in his rock background ala Ziggy Stardust.
The new album, Free Dimensional, comes out October 22nd. The record release will be at the Mod Club Thursday, November 29th. Tickets on sale this Saturday from Ticketmaster, Rotate This, and Soundscapes.
