Montréal designer Mélissa Nepton showcased her sleek and accessible chic last week at Toronto Fashion Week S/S13. Nepton’s designs relied on cleverly constructed sheer paneling giving them a ‘made to fit’ look, whether on her all-in-one playsuits, trouser suits or evening dresses.

Key pieces in florals and stripes were heavily integrated, creating a European seaside imagery in beautiful egg shell blues, burnt orange and delicate creams. Nepton also added hoods and knot-tied waist belts for extra interest.

Inspired to create a sense of fluidity and femininity with her clothes, Nepton did just that in this wearable collection that can easily be layered (if you do not dare to bare).
